Current Education Center is an in-person learning community for teens who want something different.

At Current, teens choose what and how they learn. There are classes, conversations, projects, mentors, and peers, but no predetermined path. Each day is shaped by curiosity, community, and meaningful work.

We believe young people are naturally curious. Education works best when it grows from that curiosity rather than being imposed from the outside. What matters to one teen may not matter to another, and that’s not a problem to solve. It’s something to respect.

At Current, learning happens in the present. Not just in preparation for some distant future, but in response to real interests and real questions now.

Our role is not to push teens through hoops or prepare them for arbitrary benchmarks. It is to walk alongside them as they develop ownership, direction, and a life that feels intentional.
