Only 4 months until Current Education Center is open for young people.
The BIG news is that CEC has a home in Ambler Borough. We are on the 2nd floor at 58-60 Butler Ave. It has been quite a process finding a space. We are excited to utilize all that Ambler has to offer including the train, the bus (that goes directly to MCCC), the public library, the Wissahickon Creek and the Four Mills Nature Preserve, as well as many business and community organizations to learn from.
Now that we have a space, this has kicked off a whole flurry of events to get to opening day with young people on January 6, 2025.
One of the first steps is finalizing plans to get the space ready for young people and families to see. The official opening of the space will be December 1, 2024.
I am going to keep this update short. Many more updates to come including an announcement of a separate FB and Instagram accounts for the education center.
